Mornings with Mommy isn't preschool, and it isn't childcare; it's something different!
WHAT IS IT: Mornings with Mommy offers a fun and easy way for you to enjoy activities with your children and meet other Moms! During each session, infants through preschoolers will enjoy educational playdates with Mommy (or Dads or other caregivers)! Circle time and specially curated activity stations follow a new theme every month, are designed to target skills for your child's growth, and will help you connect with your child through play. WHERE: Shepherd of the Bay @ 9463 HG Trueman Rd, Lusby, Maryland
WHEN: October 15th, 2026 9:30am to 10:30am (then every third Thursday of each month!)
COST: $5 per family (paid at event)
REGISTRATION: Advance online registration is required (form below)
WHAT TO EXPECT: Every session will vary slightly as we explore new topics and themes, but the basic structure will be consistent month to month: For the first five to ten minutes, we will gather on the big rug for language and literacy activities including stories and songs. Then, we will explain the themed stations set up in the room. These stations will include arts & crafts, sensory activities, gross motor skills, fine motor skills, and an infant area. Children and caregivers may explore these activities at their own pace while enjoying the community of other families. At 10:30am, snacks will be served. Your child may enjoy the snack at Mornings with Mommy or take it to-go for the ride home.
