Mornings with Mommy isn't preschool, and it isn't childcare, it's something different!
WHAT IS IT: Mornings with Mommy is a fun and easy way for you to enjoy activities with your children and meet other Moms. Educational play-dates with Mommy (or Dads or other caregivers!) for infants through pre-kindergarten. Each session has a different theme, so please see the dates and themes below!
WHERE: Shepherd of the Bay @ 9463 HG Trueman Rd, Lusby, Maryland
WHEN: 9:30am to 10:30am
COST: $5 per family (paid at event)
REGISTRATION: Advance online registration is required (click the link above to register!)
WHAT TO EXPECT: Every session is a little different because each month has its own theme, but the basic structure will be consistent. We will begin with everyone gathered on the big rug for language and literacy activities which include stories and songs for 5-10 minutes. Then we will explain the special stations set up in the room. These stations will include art, crafts, sensory activities, gross motor skills and fine motor skills, and an infant area. Then you will explore these activities at your own pace, while enjoying the company of the other adults. At 10:30 a.m. snacks will be served. Your child may enjoy them at Mornings with Mommy or take it to go for the ride home.
Ladies' Arts & Fellowship
This lovely group of women enjoys making crafts together! Each month is unique, offering a lot of variety. Come for food, fellowship, and fun! Women of all ages are invited to attend.

Men's Breakfast
Men's breakfast is an opportunity to enjoy the most important meal of the day with your Christian brothers AND a Biblical study to build your faith. Few things are better than that!
Join them every first and third Saturday of each month, starting at 8:30 am.
Book Club
Do you like to read? We do! Our Book Club meets every month. They read all genres, and especially enjoy introducing treasured books to the group!
Vacation Bible School
Every Summer, we look forward to hosting our kids throughout our community for our VBS. Each year has a new and engaging theme based on the Bible. Children can expect to sing, play games, and hear awesome Bible stories.

Rainforest Falls Vacation Bible School!

Step through the mist into Rainforest Falls, overflowing with wild waterfalls, towering trees and colorful creatures. Beneath a canopy of chattering birds and howling monkeys, kids plunge into a life-long adventure, discovering the nature of God and exploring what it means to be rooted in a relationship with their creator, our safe place in life’s storms.
